Contracts: NFL
Every player you hold comes with a contract. Think of it as how many games that player can keep turning out and scoring for you. When a contract runs out, you renew it to keep them in your roster. You manage this on the Roster page, on the Contracts tab.
Contracts are platform-wide. This page covers what matters for NFL, with the full detail linked below.
How contracts work
- Every active player uses one contract game for each tournament they play
- A contract runs for up to 8 games
- When a contract reaches 0, that player will not enter tournaments or earn rewards until you renew
The Contracts tab groups your players into three states:
| State | Games remaining |
|---|---|
| Active | 3 or more |
| Ending Soon | 1 to 2 |
| Expired | 0 |
Benched players do not use a contract.
Renewing a contract
Select one or more players, then open the renewal modal to choose how many games to add. The minimum renewal is 4 games, and a contract can hold at most 8. You can renew several players together in one action.
Renewals are paid in Gold, and the cost scales with the player's current price and how many shares you hold.
For renewal discounts and the full platform-level detail, see Player Shares and Contracts.
