Sport.fun
Sport.fun is a fantasy sports trading game. You build a squad by signing player shares, compete in tournaments scored by real match data, and earn rewards based on where you finish.
It runs in two modes: Free to Play (free, global, off-chain) and Pro (real-stakes, non-custodial, on-chain on Base). Football is live in both modes. NFL is Pro only.
This page covers the platform as a whole.
For sport-specific details, see Football or NFL.

The loop
Every tournament cycle follows the same shape. Each step builds on the last.
- Choose a sport. Football and NFL each have their own squad, market, and tournament schedule. Skill Rating, holdings, and rewards are kept separate per sport.
- Sign player shares. Shares are your stake in a player. Use Gold to sign shares of players you think will perform. Prices move with demand, so timing matters as much as picking.
- Compete automatically. Your squad enters tournaments without you submitting a lineup. As long as you hold eligible active shares before the snapshot, you are in.
- Score from real performance. Players earn points from actual match events: goals, assists, clean sheets in football; passing, rushing, receiving in NFL. The better your players play, the higher you place.
- Earn rewards. Top finishers per position take a cut of the prize pool, weighted by how many eligible shares you held in each placing player. In Free to Play you earn Gold. In Pro you earn Tournament Points (TP).
- Grow your squad. In Free to Play, reinvest your Gold by signing more shares. In Pro, spend TP on Player Packs, which convert TP into more shares, sometimes with Epic (1.5x) or Legendary (3x) upgrades.
- Repeat. Each cycle compounds. A consistent squad over many tournaments beats a hot week.
What shares are
Shares are your stake in a player. You sign shares to enter, release shares to exit, and your holdings determine your cut of that player's tournament rewards. You sign shares from the marketplace using Gold. In Pro, you can also get shares from Player Packs.
- For the full breakdown of how shares work across the platform (snapshot eligibility, benching, and, in Pro, contracts and on-chain custody), see Player Shares.

Modes
Free to Play. Free, global, and off-chain. No deposit needed: you start with a Gold grant. Gold is the only currency, and it is what tournament rewards pay out. Free to Play does not use Tournament Points, Player Packs, or player contracts.
Pro. Real-stakes and on-chain on Base, available in supported regions. Gold is 1:1 with USDC; deposit USDC into your in-game wallet to start. Tournaments reward Tournament Points (TP), which you spend on Player Packs. Shares carry contracts.
