Football on Sport.fun

You build a squad, sign player shares, compete in weekly tournaments, and earn rewards based on real match performances.

Sport.fun is in active development. Mechanics, fees, and reward structures may change. For the most current information, check the app or official announcements.

The loop

  1. Sign shares in players you think will perform well
  2. Your squad enters tournaments automatically
  3. Enter Picks: name a 5-player lineup and a Captain for bonus rewards
  4. Players score points based on real match data
  5. Finish high to earn Gold and climb the rankings
  6. Use your Gold to sign more shares and strengthen your squad
  7. Repeat

How Sport.fun is different

Sport.fun works differently to most fantasy games. A few things are worth knowing before you start:

  • You own the players you pick. To pick a player and have them earn for you, hold at least 100 shares of them. Hold fewer and they count as a loan instead (more on loans below).

  • Shares pay Gold, picks set your rank. Holding more shares of a player earns you more Gold when they perform, but it does not move you up the leaderboard. Your rank comes from your Skill Rating (SR), which is all about the quality of your picks against the whole field.

  • Prices move with demand. The more people back a player, the faster their price climbs, quicker than you might be used to in other fantasy games. Getting in early is cheaper than buying once everyone else already has.

  • Transfer windows are the cheap time to move. Selling and swapping cost less during a transfer window. Signing is the same either way, and outside a window selling costs more.

  • You get 5 picks a round. One for each position, plus a Wildcard that can be any position.

  • Loans are an emergency option, not a plan. You can pick a player you do not own as a loan, but loans earn no Gold, and in the higher divisions they can carry an SR penalty. Use them to fill a gap, not as a strategy.

  • Everyone starts together, then splits into leagues. You begin in the Challenger division alongside everyone else. When the group stage ends, all managers are ranked by their Picks score and placed into a league: Elite, Diamond, Gold, Silver, or Bronze. You stay in that league for the knockouts and play for its prize pool, so climb as high as you can before the groups finish, then fight it out where you land.
