Trading and Fees

Signing and releasing shares is how you build and adjust your squad. Sign shares in the players you rate, and release them to free up Gold or switch things up. Every trade carries a small fee, which helps keep the in-game economy balanced and fair for everyone.

Fees can change. The app always shows the current rates before you confirm.

Standard fees

Every trade takes a small fee from the Gold involved.

Swap (Release side)3%
Swap (Sign side)2%

Moving from one player to another? Use Swap. It costs 5% in total, versus 6% if you release and sign separately.

Dynamic fees

Most of the time you'll just pay the standard fee. In a couple of unusual situations the fee rises for a short while, to keep the market steady and protect everyone from sudden crashes:

  • After a sharp price drop. If a player's price falls fast in a short window, the release fee goes up for a little while, then settles back down. This cushions against panic-selling that would tank the price for everyone holding that player.
  • On very large sell-offs. If you release a big chunk of a player's available shares at once (more than 5% of their market pool), a higher fee kicks in. Releasing in smaller batches avoids it.

The exact tiers vary by sport, and the app always shows the fee before you confirm, so there are no surprises.

Price changes mid-trade

Prices move as people trade. Every so often, a player's price can shift in the moment between you tapping confirm and the trade going through. To protect you, there's a built-in tolerance of 5%: if the price moves more than that from what you saw, the trade is cancelled automatically and your Gold comes straight back. (You might see this called slippage.)
