Picks Page: Football ​

The Picks Page is where you build and manage your 5-pick lineup for the current tournament. It opens from the Live Scores Page when you tap a pick slot.

Picks v2 is the current layout. Picks settings can change. See Picks: Football for full mechanics. Numbers on this page describe what you see in the UI.

In the app ​

To reach the Picks Page:

  • From the Live Scores Page, tap any pick slot in the Picks lineup. If the lineup is empty, tap an empty slot from the Picks Performance panel in the sidebar.

1. Picks lineup ​

The 5-pick lineup sits at the top of the centre area.

  • Salary Cap progress bar with current spend (e.g. 0/100, 90/100). Orange when close to the limit.
  • Skill Rating display (e.g. 5,036). Your current Picks SR.
  • Set Captain button. Opens the captain selection flow.
  • Share button (top-right of the Picks heading). Generates a shareable view of your lineup.
  • Five pick cards in order: GK, DEF, MID, FWD, WILD (Flex).
    • Empty: shows a + button with the position label.
    • Filled: shows the player's kit number, name, position, salary value, fixture or status (e.g. Thu 20:00, DNP, fixture pill), and a LOAN tag if the pick is not from your squad.
  • Status banner below the picks:
    • Red when picks are incomplete: Add 5 more players to complete Picks. You must have 5 picks by end of Tournament to be eligible for rewards.
    • Green when picks are valid: Players can be swapped until they enter the pitch.

2. Picks Decisions View (player selector) ​

Tapping an empty pick slot or an existing pick card opens the player selector. It replaces the Performance section below the Picks lineup.

  • Search bar with a filter icon at the top.
  • Reward Eligible Players heading with explainer text on the eligibility state. For example, when none of your squad qualifies, the page tells you that you can loan players from the list below or take action to make them eligible for rewards.
  • Unavailable Players sub-heading for players who cannot be picked as eligible right now.
  • Table (desktop) or stacked cards (mobile) with these fields:

Key actions ​

  • Add a pick. Tap an empty slot, then tap a player from the Picks Decisions View.
  • Replace a pick. Tap an existing pick card, then choose a different player.
  • Remove a pick. Tap the X on the pick card.
  • Set Captain. Tap Set Captain below the Picks lineup.
  • Loan a player. Pick a player not in your squad. They count as a loan and are tagged LOAN. Loans are not Bonus Pool eligible. See Picks: Football for loan mechanics.
  • Understand why a player is unavailable. Read the eligibility reason in the Picks Decisions View (e.g. Over Team Cap, Already Picked).
  • Share your lineup. Tap Share next to the Picks heading.
  • Live Scores Page: tournament status, fixtures, Performance, View Players, Fixture View
  • Picks: Football: full Picks mechanics, including SR, divisions, Bonus Pool eligibility, and per-pick outcomes
  • Squads: Football: squad mechanics, the 75-player tournament cap, bench rules
